How we publish

Editorial Policy

GetMyJob aims to make recruitment information easier to understand without replacing the employer or recruiting authority. This policy describes our source, writing, correction, image, and advertising standards.

Source standards

Private-sector listings should be checked against an official company career page or official job description. Government recruitment should be checked against an official notification, department, commission, PSU, bank, railway, court, university, or recruitment portal.

Other websites may help discover a topic, but they are not treated as the controlling source. We do not intentionally copy competitor wording, article structure, screenshots, or images.

Original and useful explanations

Articles are rewritten for clarity in plain Indian English. A useful job guide should explain the role, location, employment type, eligibility, skills, responsibilities, compensation context, deadline when available, application steps, and safety checks. We avoid padding a page with repeated or generic text.

Facts, estimates, and uncertainty

Vacancies, dates, fees, official pay, and eligibility are stated as facts only when a suitable source supports them. Market salary context is labelled as an estimate. We do not publish guaranteed outcomes, invented benefits, fake urgency, or unsupported selection claims.

If an important detail cannot be verified, we may omit it, label the uncertainty, keep the item as a draft, or skip publication.

Corrections and updates

Recruitment pages can change or close. We review credible correction reports and update material errors where appropriate. A correction may revise the article, replace a broken official link, add context, or remove a listing that can no longer be verified.

Send the page URL, disputed statement, and supporting official source through the Contact Us page.

Images and trademarks

Featured images are editorial illustrations or licensed professional assets. A company-name treatment does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. Official logos are used only when an appropriate asset and use are available. Images must not include fake salary, vacancy, deadline, guarantee, or official-seal claims.

Advertising independence

Advertising may support the cost of operating GetMyJob. Advertisers do not receive authority to change eligibility facts, official source links, or editorial conclusions. Ads should be visually distinguishable from navigation, application buttons, and editorial content.

Publication on GetMyJob does not mean an employer, department, or recruiting authority has paid for or endorsed the article unless a page clearly states otherwise.

Automation and human responsibility

Software and AI-assisted tools may help with research organisation, drafting, readability, metadata, or image preparation. The same source, originality, disclosure, and correction standards apply. Automation is not a reason to invent facts or publish unchecked material.
